Our computer is up and running again and I finally get to catch up on my blogging. We had a busy vacation, we stayed on Balboa Island (next to Newport) in a beach house for a week and it was so much fun! Brett's parents and his two sisters, Steph and Ashlyn came down too and of course, the kids loved it! I had to do 2 parts for this vacation because I took about 154 pictures and I didn't think you'd want to see them all in one sitting:)
These pictures are mostly at the beach. Hallie loved playing in the sand and building castles, burying daddy's feet, flying her kite, talking walks with papa and Steph, watching the dolphins, and running from the waves. Cole on the other hand was content to sit under the umbrella and eat the sand... there's nothing better than relaxing on the beach!

the only time Cole came out from under the umbrella was to get his feet wet, and he didn't like it so much... poor guy

We also had the chance to visit my Gma Emily and my uncle Matt, his wife Sophie and beautiful baby girl Emily. They live in LA and they went out of their way to make us this yummy dinner on such short notice! Thank you guys again... we loved seeing you.
Tuesday night we had a girls night out! Sharon, Steph, Ash and I drove to LA to see the play "Wicked". The cast was amazing and I loved the everything about the play. We went out to eat before at 'The Ivy' and then hit Rodeo Drive and drove around through Beverly Hills. Thanks so much Sharon and Steph for a fun night... and also to Brett who took the kids to an aquarium so I could have a night on the town!

Linds, we didn't see any celebrities at all! i was so disappointed, but we did see clusters of paparazzi in front of some stores so i knew some stars were around:)

Wow! What a fun trip!! I can't wait to get all the details next week at the ranch. Ashley was sitting by me when she saw the princesses, and well - let's just say for the last ten minutes she has been saying, "I wanna meet Snow White! I wanna see Jasmine! Mommy!!!" Guess we'll have to go there soon too huh... :)
