but we call it bad luck! We have had some bad luck lately with our cars. on Aug 22nd I was rear ended on I-15. I was heading to go to pick Brett up from work and as I stopped for traffic this 19 year old girl ran right into me. I had Hallie and Cole in the car with me and luckily no one was hurt. I got out of my car to see if this girl was OK, because she was crying hysterically, and all she said to me was " I'm just worried about my car"... are you kidding me!?!
So needless to say, we are in the process of dealing with insurances, YUCK!
We were very blessed because it was a 3 car pile up and the other 2 cars had to be towed because their cars were undrivable.
and this morning, Brett woke me up to tell me the good news that his car was broken into. They shattered the passenger side window and took a bag of his that he always took to work. Again, we were blessed that nothing else of importance was in there. 2 of our neighbors also had their cars broken into and had a wallet stolen among other things.
Here's to hoping things start looking up for us:)

Wow Annie! I can't believe that girls response to the accident-all worried about her car? Seriously! As for Brett's car, that is so sad, especially when you think of Fruit Heights as such a safe place. What is this world coming to? Sorry for the bad luck!

You've definitely had your share of bad luck lately. Glad you and the kiddos were okay in the accident and you guys are smart to not leave too much in your cars at night. Hang in there with the insurance companies. No fun at all!
at least the girls insurance will pay on your car. on bretts, unless they find the people, your insurance will pick it up. I am afraid this world is just going to get so much worse that we can't even comprehend. It just makes you want to lock up everything & stay at home. love to you all

That is so crappy! I'm sorry you have to deal with those things...at least you're all ok though! How scary to get in a wreck with your kids. It happened to me once in Baltimore and I still think how lucky we were that none of us were hurt.
