Brett has been working alot lately. He has a second job with South Davis Rec center in which he is in charge of organizing jr. jazz basketball as well as the mens leagues. If any of you know Brett, you would also think to yourself that this is the perfect postion for him to be in. He absolutely loves it and he works really hard at it to make sure everything runs smoothly... the downside of this is that we hardly ever see him. He is gone Mon- Wed nights and then has YM on Thurs. But the other night Brett got to see the kids for a little bit and got them all wound up before bed. I guess that's what dads are here for:)
here they are wrestling and tickling eachother. Hallie and Cole get so excited when they here the door to the garage opens up and see him walk in- and so do I!
The kids and I fill our time up with everything you can think of. But the kids have a favorite thing they each like to play and that's what we spend most of our time doing. Can you guess what Cole's favorite thing to do is?
Yep, you guessed it... basketball and soccer, but pretty much anything that has to do with balls.
and Hallie LOVES to play hide and seek. I had to take a pic of her in her new hiding spot. i have to say, she's pretty creative with the places she hides.
We love you Daddy and miss you too!

Isn't if fun seeing your hubby with the kids? I love it! Good seeing you yesterday! Avery LOVES the cd player, she even slept with it last night! Cute pics, I love the one of cole in the dress up shoes!
I agree... I LOVE when Andrew gets home and Ty gets so EXCITED! I love Hallie's kitchen so cute... cute kiddos!

Leka & Austin love those things too--Leka's been really into hide & seek lately. We'll have to get together again sometime.
In fact, Nase's traveling to Denver next week, so we should hang out & be single moms together while Brett's working late :) ;) (I know how it goes to have daddy/hubby gone a lot...some days can be quite long!)
-And I would Love to tell you all my favorite places in Hawaii!...There are definitely a few activities that I think are the funnest to do there...That's SO exciting you get to go!!
-In the fall & winter in Hawaii I would get Island fever because I missed the seasons & my family during the holidays...but now in Jan-Mar I get Mainland fever because I want to be back on the balmy, beautiful island--out of the yucky snow & inversion!
That job sounds perfect for Brett! It looks like they love having him home!
I'm sorry to hear he is gone more. I hated when Cam was gone a lot for work. Your kids are so stinking cute.
It's so hard when husbands are gone all the time. Nick is gone a lot also with church and work, it's the best just having them around. It's no surprise that cole loves ball, and basketball. He is going to be quite the star.
My sister called the rec center to figure out Ben's basketball schedule and they told her to call "Brett Hewlett" if she had any questions. I agree it's a perfect job for Brett.
Why is it that your kids are always 10 times more excited when DADDY comes home than MOM. I NEVER get that kind of a reception when I come home from being away for a while --- but Steve? Different story. CUTE POST!
