I had posted awhile back that I'm taking a different approach when writing my posts... well, summer came and we got so busy that I only had time to post pictures and write down some of the fun things we were doing. Lately, I've been wanting to write down some of the things the kids are doing before I forget them all:Hallie~
Hallie is sweet, tender hearted, and a very soft spoken little girl out in public... but behind closed doors she is very different. I'm hoping it's a phase or just the age that causes this attitude but she's alot of work! But then she will have these moments that make you just want to grab her in your arms and squeeze her. She truly has a beautiful spirit about her and she makes us laugh all the time with the things she says. She really loves her brother,maybe a little too much, and plays along well with all of her friends.
Cole~
this little guy is ALL boy. He loves, cars, trucks, balls and hitting his sister. He really is a mama's boy and loves to be cuddled when he's hurt, sung to right before bed, and he will stop and give me kisses when I ask for them. He is obsessed with the movie "cars" and can recite most all of the words and songs to the movie. He loves to follow Hallie everywhere but doesnt quite know how to play with her yet, which frustrates both him and Hal. He can count to 10 all by himself and his favorite primary song is "I hope they call me on a mission"and its so funny to hear him sing it.
I am so glad I am a mom of these two rambunctious toddlers. It almost makes me miss the baby stage and makes me want another one......ALMOST!!
(don't get any ideas and NO this is not an announcement)

Hallie is so tender hearted. And you can carry on a conversation with her, sometimes I forget she's almost 4!
Cole IS all boy! I love how he calls his cars 'vrooms'...

They are so dang cute... I loved how I got to experience first hand how tender hearted Hallie is last night. She is a doll!

What a cute picture! I think Hallie is one of the cutest little girls I've ever met. She's such a sweetie!
it is fun & challenging at the same time, the key thing is not to let them know they are annoying you. kids are smarter than you think and boy they test you to the limits. But its one of lifes greatest treasures and its gone in an instant, but now you remember in your grandchildrens thoughts and eyes of how you took for granted of your own child, maybe thats why being a grandparent is so neat, you take time to enjoy it and do all the crazy things they want cause thats something they will always remember. I LOVE IT!
Love the on demand kisses, Kenya gives those to me too, they are the BEST! It's all those moments that make up for the tough ones.
You kids are so dang cute. Hallie looks just like you and has so many similar traits. Cole of course is all boy just like brett. Number three is on it's way I just have that feeling!!
