I came across this picture the other day after Brett uploaded his pics from his phone. Its after Hallie's Christmas preschool performance and we went to eat afterwards. This is the only picture I took of my dad with both kids in his arms and I regret that I didn't take more pictures of him with them. It's been 5 months from today since his death and at times I feel that he's been gone for years and at other times it feels like I just lost him and the emotions happen all over again. I miss him so much and I know my kids do too.I'm making a goal to myself to take more pictures with my kids. This is a family blog and there should be more pictures of me and my kids! Here's to hoping my goal gets accomplished.

Isn't it sad that you only have a few pictures with dad and your kids. I only have 2 pictures of dad holding noah and they were when NOah was a baby.
In Noah's big boy room we have a picture of both grandparents in his room so he can always remember them.
I miss dad too.
This picture makes me want to cry. It is so sweet. I hate when you look back on things you wish "you would have done". But i guess that's the way you learn for the future. Sure miss good old Brad. Life's not the same without him. I just know he's watching over all of you especially his grandchildren.
(p.s. yes I am way sore can't go up stairs from last's night game!)
