A couple of months after we moved into our house, I painted our master bedroom blue. A bright, light, sky blue... and at the time I really liked it. But as the years went on it started to drive me crazy. So I stumbled upon this blog(sorry, I still don't know how to link blogs) and found exactly what I wanted! Here is our bedroom before the makeover...(please excuse the mess, i was moving furniture around)
this pic below is in the middle of the process. The easiest part of the project was putting these boards up, the hardest part was painting.

here is the big reveal... I also repainted my bedroom walls a great color of blue by Pottery Barn. Its called Buxton Blue and although the blues look similar in the pictures I promise they aren't. Not too shabby for a saturday project!!

Easy for you to say the painting was the hardest. I think cutting the pieces to a perfect length and making them look good on the wall was by far the hardest.
