4th of July

It seems that all my posts in the summer are always about the cabin, but I guess that's where we spend most of our time in the summer!

Brett took the kids to the Oakley Rodeo this year while I got a little downtime to myself. They got to go to the outlets, have dinner at our favorite diner Hi Mountain and hang out with Anthony, Ashlyn and aunt Steph!

for the festivities on the 4th, Brett and I and our cousins Kellee and Zak and Jenny were in charge of all the kids games. we were expecting about 10-12 but after everyone showed up we had about 25!! we played games like water balloons toss, sponge games with water and duck duck goose with the wet sponge...

we finished off the games with bubbles, chalk art, shaving a balloon and face painting. I would call the day a success!

These girls were all born within a couple of months from eachother and they love to get together and play whenever they can.

Brett is the only brave parent that gets in the river with the kids. Its too cold for me!!
